School to Work Transitions project – Swim Teacher training for students in Logan and Caboolture

AQIA has partnered with AUSTSWIM as the RTO to provide swim teacher training to students in years 10-12.  Upon completion students can gain casual employment (whilst they are at school) as learn to swim teachers at local pools and aquatic centres.  They can continue this employment post-school.  This project will also provide CPR training and assist the students in obtaining a Blue card.  If you would like more information about this project, or have a student who attends a high school in the Logan or Caboolture areas and is interested in this program, contact us at admin@aqia.org.au

We have two day workshops scheduled for the following Term 2 dates:

  • 27/28 May 23
  • 17/18 June 23

Register now to gain a spot in the program.  Students can be trained and licenced now for the upcoming 2023 Spring/Summer season.
