QUEENSLAND TRAINING AWARDS – NOW OPEN

Nominations for the Queensland Government 2023 Queensland Training Awards (QTA) are now open and close 15 March 2023.  The awards provide an opportunity to shine and be recognised and rewarded for your contribution to the state’s vocational education and training (VET) sector.  It would great to see representation from our industry.

  • Award categories include:
  • Apprentice and Trainee of the Year
  • Vocational student of the Year
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student of the Year
  • School-based apprentices and trainee of the Year
  • VET teacher of Trainer of the Year
  • Community training initiative of the Year
  • Employer (Small, Medium and Large) of the Year
  • Training provider of the Year
  • Industry collaboration of the Year

Assistance and Support for Organisations and Clubs


We aim to make it easier to run local fitness, sport and recreation organisations and clubs. Active Queenslanders Industry Alliance provides free one-on-one advice on how to apply for and win grants, free access to club management templates and tools, fact sheets, videos, legal information, advice on staffing and volunteer matters and subsidised Strategic and Business Planning audits and workshops.
