The State Government has committed to increasing the size, skills, and adaptability of the state’s workforce through the Workforce Strategy. As part of the Strategy, DESBT has funded a number of Industry Workforce Advisors to assist small and medium businesses with workforce planning, enabling them to address workforce challenges, diversify their workforces, and support workforce growth. This may include identifying recruitment strategies to expand applicant pools and considering underrepresented groups.
Eleanor Crosby has been appointed to assist the fitness, sport and recreation industry. Eleanor has been self employed so understands the challenges and pain points that businesses face. She has a strong business and finance background spanning 20 years. Her focus is to engage with businesses on all levels to develop effective relationships with all stakeholders to achieve results.
