Supporting the Fitness, Sport and Recreation Industry in Queensland

AQIA School to Work Transitions Swim Teacher Project

The AQIA S2WT project has another planned intake of students in the LOGAN and CABOOLTURE areas for 12-13 AUGUST.  REGISTER NOW!

AQIA has partnered with AUSTSWIM as the RTO to provide swim teacher training to students in years 10-12 (minimum age 16 years).

Upon completion students can gain casual employment (whilst they are at school) as learn-to-swim teachers at local pools and aquatic centres.  They can continue this employment post-school.  This project also provides CPR training and assists the students in obtaining a Blue card. If you would like more information about this project, or have a student who attends a high school in the Logan or Caboolture areas and is interested in this program, contact us at
