The Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) is Queensland’s largest one-off community grants program and distributes approximately $60 million each year to not-for-profit community groups.

The GCBF allocates funding to these groups to help them provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queensland communities.

The Queensland Government has announced up to $140 million over four years for a revitalised Back to Work program. Back to Work provides eligible businesses the confidence to employ Queenslanders who have experienced a period of unemployment and helps workers facing disadvantage in the labour market.

  • FOR EMPLOYERS – Support payments of up to $20,000 are available for eligible employers who hire eligible unemployed jobseekers.
  • FOR JOBSEEKERS – Back to Work offers support for jobseekers who need or want to update their skills to gain, change or retain employment.

The revitalised Back to Work program is now available. Employers may still make an application under the current Back to Work program if they employed their eligible employee up to and including 30 June 2021.
